Description.
A bushy shrub or small tree reaching 8 metres in height. The greyish-green leaves are narrow (roughly 1 mm in diameter), rigid and cylindrical, each ending in a single hooked point. Produces clusters of spidery, cream-coloured flowers along the branches. These are followed by woody fruits which eventually open to reveal two winged seeds. Pods may remain closed for a very long time.
Propagation.
Seed germinates readily without pre-treatment, although this may take up to 6 weeks. Cuttings may also work.
